Carmen is an opera written by the french composer Georges Bizet and tells the story of a passionate young gypsy woman in a fictitious Spanish inspired setting.

I grew up singing these songs and I love every moment of the music, so it was a great adventure to be able to work on such a  project!

I was working with the wonderful costumer Fanny Munoz, and we set the story in a modern, somewhat dystopian world, but in keeping with the flamenco vibes of the story.
